What are these made out of? Will they break easily?
We precision-manufacture our frames using high-density, impact-resistant industrial polymers (PLA). While lightweight and optimized for smooth motion, the structures are engineered with internal reinforcement grid patterns to withstand standard desk drops, everyday carry tasks, and consistent flipping. They are tough, but they are plastic—don't run them over with a car.
Why does the surface have texture and faint lines?
That is the hallmark of genuine, precision 3D printing. We print our outer shells on specialized textured plates to give them a premium, non-slip, scratch-resistant feel. Faint horizontal layer lines and micro-textures are a natural part of the high-grade additive manufacturing process, not defects.
Is the Butterfly Trainer dangerous?
The Balisong Fidget Trainer features a non-edged, unsharpened plastic trainer profile, meaning there is no cutting edge to slice your fingers while practicing combos. However, please note that it is designed with an authentic, angular geometric point. While it cannot cut you, the tip is rigid and pointed—it should be handled with care and kept away from the face during fast flipping sequences.
Shipping & Production
Why hasn't my order shipped yet?
Because we are a custom production house, we build many of our items to order. The shipping timeline you select at checkout dictates carrier transit time only, not production time.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. However, you are entirely responsible for ensuring that utility tools or trainer variants comply with your local municipal codes and customs regulations. Fidget Knife is not responsible for items seized or delayed by regional border enforcement.
Order Policy
Can I return my knife if I change my mind?
Because our items are custom manufactured in limited batches, we implement strict return rules to keep our pipeline moving. Returns for non-defective items are accepted within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused. The customer is responsible for return shipping, and returns are subject to a 50% restocking fee. Final sale collections cannot be returned.
My item arrived broken. What do I do?
If the carrier absolutely thrashed your package and your item arrived functionally damaged, we’ve got your back. Send clear photos of the damaged packaging and product to yourfidgetknife@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery, and we will expedite a replacement component to you.
